CEMR, in partnership with Platforma, 28DIGITAL and AICCRE, invites you to a webinar on artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalisation in local and regional governments (LRGs).

This session will introduce the new project “Empowering Local Leaders Through AI”, which aims to develop a practical training programme tailored to the needs of elected representatives and senior officials in LRGs. The webinar will also showcase 28DIGITAL’s work in turning digital policy into action, equipping leaders with skills, connecting them to innovation ecosystems, and scaling solutions in areas like AI, cybersecurity, and GovTech.

Meeting between the Secretaries General and Directors of CEMR members

This executive training programme by EUI, in collaboration with CEMR, equips professionals with strategic foresight tools to anticipate and navigate uncertainty in an increasingly complex world. Addressing challenges such as climate disruption, technological change and geopolitical risk, the course supports proactive, informed decision-making.

Delivered through a combination of online learning and residential workshops, the programme introduces the foundations of strategic foresight and provides hands-on experience in scenario-building. Guest speakers from European and international institutions will share practical insights into real-world applications of foresight.

The training also offers valuable networking opportunities, enabling participants to exchange perspectives and build future-oriented strategies.

The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the world’s leading global conference dedicated to sustainable urbanisation. The CEMR Leaders’ Summit brings together over 150 international leaders from 41 member countries and partners to explore Europe’s most urgent challenges. This two-day gathering includes internal CEMR statutory affairs meetings, as well as political discussions and events on the broader EU and international context.

This edition of the Leaders’ Summit will be hosted by the Association of Finnish Cities and Municipalities.
