Improving information technology skills at local level(Rome, 22-24 June 2006)
ELANET, CEMR's network on eGovernment and Information Society, together with AICCRE, the Italian association of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, are organising a three-day workshop on eCapacity building at local level, in Rome on 22 -24 June 2006.
The workshop is part of the eCAPACITY BUILDING and aims at improving the skills of civil servants at local level. It describes how local administrations should buy, use and evaluate new technologies while modernising their information and communication technologies.
The programme includes best practice presentations on how Italian and British governments cope with e-Government and modernisation.
Speakers will include Jeremy Smith, Secretary General of CEMR; Javier Ossandon, President of ELANET; Roberto Di Giovan Paolo, Secretary General AICCRE (Italy), and Candido De Angelis, mayor of Anzio.
