CEMR strengthens its work in the field of active ageing through the new Thematic Network on innovation for age-friendly environments

The thematic network on innovation for age-friendly environments (AFE-INNOVNET) will be at the forefront of finding and sharing solutions to support active and healthy ageing through the development of age-friendly environments, in other words, by ensuring a good quality of life for elderly – in terms of transport, housing, employment, health services, among others.

rnOfficially launched on 4 March 2014, the consortium is composed of 28 partners from 16 EU countries, among them, local government, research centers, civil society and industry representatives.
