Energy Behaviour Forum

Forum for local action on energy efficient behaviour

February 2025 – February 2027

The Energy Behaviour Forum is a pan-European initiative that supports local and regional authorities by providing a knowledge-sharing platform, practical tools, good practices and capacity-building, enabling them to design and implement effective short-, medium- and long-term strategies and initiatives to promote energy-efficient behaviour among citizens and private sector stakeholders.

Specifically, the Forum’s activities centre on three pillars:

  1. A Knowledge Hub, collecting case studies, guidance and policy support tools for interested actor to create their own energy efficiency and behavioural change campaign.
  2. Online courses and expert training for both local and regional authorities, as well as behavioural scientists.
  3. The Friends of the Forum group offering opportunities for networking and peer-to-peer exchanges on energy efficiency and behavioural change.

Energy Behaviour Forum is an initiative of the European Commission.
